August Break 2012

Yesterday I shared an image that I took inside Fort Point during a visit to San Francisco this week. The reason I dragged my husband there was to attempt to get a new Golden Gate Bridge image from that vantage point.

Many years ago I photographed this one on a stormy winter day when the sun peeked out just long enough to capture this shot. I used Konica Infrared film and hand colored the darkroom print with Marshall photo oil paints.

This time however, you could barely see the bridge................................

The fog adds it's own mood and I may do more with this image later, but I will probably keep going back until I get the shot I want. (I am grateful I live close enough to say that.......)
