Bogle Vineyards

After our show at Viewpoint Gallery last fall, Donald Satterlee and I were invited to show at Bogle Vineyards in Clarksburg. Happy to get many of our pieces out of our houses and on other walls, we eagerly accepted. While not a perfect venue, they will be hosting a nice reception this Saturday and they do get a fair amount of traffic.

We drove out there this morning to hang the show. There was a little drizzle, but it was warm. It was too bad we both had appointments this afternoon because this area is so much fun to photograph. (I did manage to sneak in a few shots and will probably share those next week.)

Hanging a show is like putting a puzzle together.  It always seems like an overwhelming job at the beginning and you wonder how all the pieces are going to fit.

Many of you will recognize these images from our show "Visions of Translucence",  but for those of you that don't, I thought I would re-post the video that I put together last fall.  If you can't see the video on the blog, click here: Video  Be sure to turn your speakers on!

I am calling this show at Bogle Vineyards "Visions of Translucence Lite" because many of the same images are included. However, Donald has one brand new amazing piece making it's "debut" this weekend.

If you are in the area, come by on Saturday, March 17th from 1 - 4 for the reception. Click here for more information: Bogle

I am going to try to stay inside during the reception and not sneak out with my camera, but I am not making any promises.....................

  1. Dianne--I appreciate your line about bringing your photographs out of your home and studio! I did just that recently with my show at the Mt. Madonna Center. I think these alternative venues bring artwork to audiences who might not otherwise show up at a gallery or open studio. Buona fortuna!
